The Story
Get Excited About STEM! Throughout their journey to STEM success, the STEMsational Problem Solvers, Aliyah, Graciela, and Drew, work together to overcome obstacles from a mischievous cat named Whiskers. Together the Problem Solvers use STEM strategies inspired by their role model and Mathematician, Dr. Gladys B. West, whose calculations contributed to the development of the modern GPS System.
This book is perfect for elementary to middle-school-aged students and teachers looking for a way to empower young people through STEM education!
Who Are The “REAL” STEMsational Problem Solvers?
The team features author Chris Goldberg and illustrators Ryker Cashin and Hope Goldsborough. Chris taught at Norwood School in suburban Philadelphia for 23 years, and Ryker and Hope were his students for his final five years. Ryker and Hope, now 6th graders at Norwood, had much input in the story and produced all the illustrations. Many of the illustrations were shared in a rare team format. The STEMsational Problem Solvers are currently starting to create their second book.
